Meet Hazel, the Big Beautiful Collie of Collie Rescue!  A tall sable and white, carrying her 73 lbs with head held high, Miss Hazel is a girl looking for a good time family who will celebrate all the enthusiasm she has for life.

At just two years of age, this zaftig sweetheart has never met a stranger and greets everyone with a wagging tail and Collie kisses.  She can be a bit forward with her affection, and so might not be good for those families with younger children, but 10 years old and up, well, she'd be over the moon!  Hazel walks nicely on a leash and is pretty bomb-proof as far as neighborhood noises go - she knows sit, and down and has no problem staying in a crate to sleep and eat. 

As for other dogs, we'd recommend a canine companion also on the larger side, and definitely one with a more laid back personality, as Hazel can be a bit bossy, especially with other girls. Hazel isn't great with smaller dogs and probably a no-cat household would be best as well.

If she had a chance to be an 'only' for someone who wanted a very attentive, loving friend, all the better!

Good things may come in small packages, but Hazel says better things come in large boxes, so if you are ready for a lot of Collie, she's ready to meet you!
