Say hello to Nyx the nudger! This 3-year-old boy will nudge your elbow for pets whenever you sit down at a table. He came to our rescue as an owner surrender and, after a full vetting and evaluation, he is ready to find his forever family. 

It took some time for Nyx to acclimate to his new foster home and daily routine, but day by day his wonderful personality has been revealed. He's just a young dog looking for love and affection. He is very people-oriented and wants nothing more than to be with you. Nyx follows his foster parents through the house wanting to be wherever they are. He's always happy to accept pets, pats, good boys, and any other attention that comes his way. 

Nyx is a spirited and athletic young collie who would definitely benefit from obedience training as he gets easily excitable and at times vocal. He enjoys playing with his toys and loves tugging or fetching balls. He plays well with a resident collie, but we're not sure how he feels about cats. Nyx is a very smart, eager to please boy. He knows a few commands: sit, stay, down and paw. Leash walking is a work in progress. He likes to chase and bark at passersby and will pull or lunge toward people on bikes. Given his energy and activity levels and his hound dog-like love of the chase, a fenced in yard is certainly desirable for Nyx.
