Knox

Knox is a happy and affectionate young collie who loves people, toys, balls, and zooming around the yard. He is playful with active resident collies, rides beautifully in the car, and settles calmly in a quiet space. Knox is ready for a family who will enjoy his happy personality, cheerful energy, and continue guiding his manners.

Knox is an easy-going and happy companion. He does not show fear around strangers and warms up fast to new people. He knows “sit” and “touch,” walks nicely on a leash, accepts grooming, and sleeps peacefully through the night. He is trustworthy in the house and, when left alone, likes using his crate as a comfortable retreat. He is housebroken, though he may need access to a door to communicate when he needs to go out. Knox enjoys squeaky toys—especially his favorite monkey. He has no difficulty with stairs and goes up and down with no hesitation.

Knox is generally quiet. He will whine sometimes when he's hungry and barks enthusiastically when playing with people or other dogs. He initially felt nervous around new, unfamiliar dogs and kept his distance, but now that he’s settled, he really enjoys canine companionship! He continues learning to settle when other dogs are around, as he always wants to keep playing.

A fenced yard is required for Knox. He enjoys playing with people in the yard, goofing around, doing zoomies, and playing with toys and balls. He also enjoys spending time outside taking in his surroundings, sniffing around, or just taking a peaceful nap in the sun.
