Lucy is a beautiful, affectionate Collie whose favorite place is wherever her people are. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will happily follow you from room to room, cuddle beside you on the couch or bed, and greet every day with a gentle heart, Lucy may be the perfect match.

Lucy is fully housebroken, has excellent house manners, and is completely trustworthy when left loose in the home. She settles calmly when her family is away, walks relatively well on a leash, rides quietly in the car, and enjoys being brushed and pampered.

She has a wonderful balance of playful and relaxed. Lucy enjoys running and playing with children and canine friends, but once the fun is over, she's happiest snuggled next to her family for cuddles. Couch is her favorite spot! Her foster describes her as a true "Velcro Collie" who simply loves being close to the people she loves.

While Lucy is good with children of all ages and gets along very well with other dogs, she is not a good fit for a home with cats or other small animals. She becomes overly excited around them and will definitely give them a good chase. A securely fenced yard is required to safely manage her enthusiasm for wildlife.
