Rascal Sable and White Rough Male 4 months Adopted!

I guess Collie Rescue has been very, very good lately, because the Collie Fairy swooped down, waved her magic wand, and POOF! We have five of the sweetest baby collies you'd ever want to meet!

This is Rascal - and what an adorable guy he is! Sweet and loving and oh, so smart! We are amazed at how quickly he transitioned from living on a farm to settling into a home. On his first night, Rascal was pretty sure he didn't like his leash ONE BIT, did not trust that doorway/door/gate AT ALL and was pretty sure that his crate was a medievel torture chamber. 24 hours later, this smart boy is walking right beside his foster mom on his leash, doesn't blink at the door, and has even learned that 'kennel up' means that treats are on the way! Rascal is learning his name, and also responds very well to 'Come!' - especially if he gets a cookie for doing it.

Endearing and playful, Rascal loves squeaky toys, non-squeaky toys and balls - whatever you have, he is glad to play with, but the truth of the matter is that he is just as likely to run past the yellow stuffed bunny to fling himself in your lap! Well loved and well socialized by his previous owner, Rascal has no issues to overcome - other than the fact that he needs a home and a family to call his own! Rascal has been very good with his housebreaking and has had no accidents in the house, gets along very well with other dogs, and is even gentle (though very interested!) in cats. He doesn't have a big tendency to jump on people, and so would be very good in a home with children.

Rascal is going to be a long, tall collie when he finishes growing, and has endearingly floppy ears. He is a sable merle, so his super downy coat will stay soft and fluffy. And just to help you tell him apart from his sable brothers, Rascal has one brown eye and one blue eye!
