Anakin Sable and White Rough Male 18 months Available

We all know that Darth Vader started life as Anakin Skywalker, and our Anakin definitely needs a Yoda to help him steer away from the Dark Side!

Our young Jedi is an 18-month-old sable & white male who grew up without a lot of guidance. There is no meanness in Anakin, but he does need to learn to use The Force for Good, and not evil. Anakin came to Collie Rescue when he proved to be too rough with the small children in his former home, so we are looking for an adult household for him. Anakin came with his own crate and his own toys, and it's a good thing for Mr. Hoover & Mr. John Deere that a light saber was not one one of the things he packed as Anakin is firmly convinced that both the vacuum and the lawn mower must be destroyed. As for personal grooming, Anakin takes a dim view of all that fussing with a brush, and has expressed, in no uncertain terms, the opinion that this should stop.

Luke Skywalker had Han Solo as a sidekick, but our Anakin would be best as an only right now - he does not seem to be well socialized with other dogs, and has displayed some food aggression with other animals. A home with cats would not be one we would consider for Anakin - nor one with any small, fast moving fur friends - including Ewoks.

Having said this, we can tell you that Anakin is a puppy with a lot of promise. A Jedi is a noble, loyal and brave knight who will stand beside you and work for Good - but he will need rigorous training. It may not always be easy, but with the right blend of love & firmness (along with mandatory obedience classes!) this young boy will grow into a collie you will be proud to share your life with.

So listen carefully to the raspy voice..."Luke...I am your Puppy!"
