Nike Butt Tricolor Rough Female 3 years Adopted!

She's got a tri-colored coat, a white 'swoosh' on her hip, and blue merle markings on her face - please say hello to Nike Butt - one of the most interestingly colored collies we've seen!

Nike Butt came to Collie Rescue with her pals Sarge & Carly from a rural home where they all roamed outdoors most of the time. Well loved by her owners, Nike is a happy collie, and is enjoying her new surroundings. At three years of age, Nike is the 'big sister' and is a little more settled than her friends. She seems to look at life with an interested eye and asks 'What shall we do now?" Nike knows her name, and is a happily responsive dog - you'd almost swear she smiles at you! She walks well on her leash without pulling, but will need a little refinement, as well as lessons in the basics. We aren't sure how much time she spent inside at her previous home, so a refresher course in housebreaking will be in order, as with any new dog that joins your family. Nike is learning to ride in a car - but this is definitely something new, so will take a little time to perfect.

Nike gets along fine with other dogs, male and female, so should fit into most households after proper introductions are made. We aren't sure how Nike feels about cats, but would imagine she will need to learn to leave them alone! A dog-savy cat might assist in this lesson...Being young, and unschooled, Nike might be a bit much for little people, but should be fine with older children who can help her learn about families.
