Bobbi Sable and White Rough Female 2-3 years Adopted!

Bobbi is a 2-3 year old rough-coat beauty. She was 1 of 8 collies rescued from a Humane Investigation on charges of neglect. She and her other buddies are all heartworm positive which means they have a long and painful road to recovery. She has started her treatment and is doing very well.

Due to lack of social contact, Bobbi is very nervous of life in the real-world. Strange noises, people, smells... all make her a bit uneasy, but she is already taken great strides of improvement. She used to avoid people as much as she could and would play the "you-can't-get-me" game. She is now realizing what wondrous things happen when she's around people... like enjoying attention and getting bits of yummy cookies and cheese treats. After a week of life in her foster home she has even begun requesting pet sessions by gently nudging her foster mom's hand with her nose... it works EVERY time!

Bobbi is a darling girl who loves dogs and cats. She listens well, walks very nicely on a leash, loves her crate and adores following her foster mom around the house. She even seems to be housebroken. Because of her nervous nature, a quieter home would be best to help her get comfortable learning to be a dog again.
