Lucky Sable Merle Rough Male 5-6 years Available

Lucky is a 5-6 year old sable merle rough coated collie. His coat was shaved because it was in such bad shape but will grow in to be beautiful in time. Lucky is shy and needs to learn house manners. He has never lived in a home and does not know how to be a pet. He is a loving boy and is warming up to his humans in his foster home. Lucky is blind in one eye but sees well out of his other eye. He loves to run and play in his fenced area. Lucky needs to go into a house with no cats. He will need to learn how to walk on a leash and obedience classes will make him a wonderful pet.

5-19-08 update: Lucky had an appointment at Animal Eye and the doctors report that Lucky is blind in his right eye and has about 15 to 20% vision in his left eye. His foster home tells us he is stil a bit shy but is coming around nicely and doing well on keeping his area clean and using the bathroom outside. He is a gentle boy.
