Thank you to our Donors (updated)Collie Rescue of Greater Illinois, Inc. would like to thank the following people for their donations for the Missouri collies. Since all of these angels are heartworm positive, have had no medical treatment for a very long time and not properly socialized, these babies will be with us for awhile, especially through the heartworm treatment. Your donations are tax deductible. We thank EVERYONE for the help and support, not only in monies but in other ways now and in the coming months. Donations are still welcomed and this list will be updated. This list also includes the donors for Jake. Thank you all for your help. Full list of donors here. Too many to fit on the front page!
September update on the Missouri ColliesThe girls are progressing nicely in their heartworm treatments. Some of the girls have been lucky enough to have found their forever homes!Trixie is in her home with her two new sisters. Pandora's foster mom has fallen in love with her and she will be staying forever! Kari is in her new home and is enjoying life with her new siblings the kitties. Ginny is progressing slowly; we have discovered that she has some food aggression with other dogs and even the cats in her foster home, so Ginny eats her meals in a crate. She is still very shy but her foster mom is working with her and we hope she will come out of her shell soon. Bobbi is doing very well in foster care and gets along great with her foster siblings and has made friends with the cat. I just love the video that Bobbi's foster mom did of her. Bobbi is just a stunning beauty. Woody has not started his heartworm treatment yet but will be going into the vet next week to get on the road to recovery. Woody is extremely shy and still frightened of humans. We are looking for a foster home to take him through his treatment. This home must have a fenced yard given Woody's roaming ways. Woody is going to need a lot of work and patience is the key when it comes to Woody. If you are interested in fostering Woody let us know. Donations are still needed to get these pups through the enormous cost of the heartworm treatments. Please donate today to help us with these beautiful collies.
